How to do a quick outside condition appraisal of a Rolex Watch

 

Does it looked scratched? Nicked? Dented? That will decrease from the value of the watch. Is the logo on the clasp visible? Are the links very loose and stretched? It may need a new band. The value of your Rolex will depend on these things. If it is just a slight scratch on the crystal it is not too important. They are not extremely expensive to replace. And the old model plastic crystals are even less money.
The bands can get very costly to replace. More about that in another article.
